Lord Carlile of Berriew CBE QC
Lord Carlile of Berriew is a practising barrister and former head of chambers of 9-12 Bell Yard, a leading set of barristers' chambers. He was created a life peer in 1999. In 2001, he was appointed independent reviewer of the government's terrorism legislation and he chaired the 2006 inquiry into the use of physical restraint against children in custody. He has been Patron of the Concord Prison Trust since 2008.

Sheila King Lassman is a counsellor working with individuals and couples. She designs and teaches courses in counselling skills and is a counselling supervisor. She specialises in helping parents during and after separation and divorce, and has a particular interest in working with couples in mixed culture relationships.
Director - Marian Phillips MSc, C.Psychol. AFBPsS, MBACP (Sen. Accred)
Marian Phillips is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist who counsels individuals and couples. She designs and teaches courses in counselling skills and supervises individuals as well as groups of counsellors within organisations. She has researched the effect of counselling in the rehabilitation of heart problems.
Administrator/Fundraiser - Marilyn Kendall B.A.
Marilyn is a public relations consultant and has worked for telecom companies Cable and Wireless and Energis. Originally from the US, she has used her degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations in a variety of roles including freelance magazine work and the development of fundraising campaigns for a number of organisations. Since 1999, she has worked with charities to secure funding for their projects and enable them to achieve long-term sustainability. She has been the part-time Concord Prison Trust administrator since 2007.
