PERSON TO PERSON – HOW TO GET ON WITH PEOPLE YOU LIVE AND WORK WITH
The objective of the course is to help students form better relationships with the people they interact with – their friends, peers, partners and the people they work alongside. The course involves examining the way students communicate and behave towards others. Students will understand how they come across to others and why they behave the way they do.
With this understanding comes the challenge of changing their behaviour and students will be given exercises and strategies which will help them improve their communication skills. The ultimate goal is for students to improve their chances of getting work – by improving their performance at interview stage and their working relationships with their managers and work colleagues.
The course runs for 30 hours in total. It is divided into 2.5 hour sessions which are held twice a week for 6 weeks.
